The ALIGN Framework is a Mind Body Food Approach to food and body healing. It is an evidence-based multi-disciplinary approach that combines Eastern and Western health practices to honour you as a whole person and more than merely physical parts.
The Framework includes a bespoke combination of practices including Nutrition Science, Intuitive Eating, Embodiment or Somatic Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy- Enhanced (CBT-E), self-compassion, mindfulness, yoga, meditation and energetics.
The ALIGN framework is founded on five pillars:
Scientific approaches
Specialist Registered Dietitian including Nutritional, Physical, Body Image and Intuitive Eating assessment
Exploration of subconscious beliefs and values systems through Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) modalities
Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams including psychologists, psychiatrists and medical doctors
